The Fichtelberg suspension railroad celebrates its 100th anniversary

Since 1924, the Fichtelberg cable car has connected the highest town in Germany with the highest mountain in Saxony.
The two sister gondolas, Maria and Elinor, are among the most famous landmarks in the region and both have experienced a lot over the last 100 years.
That calls for a celebration!
Together with the town of Kurort Oberwiesenthal, FSB GmbH is organizing a big celebration weekend to mark this great anniversary.
The Hotel Fichtelberghaus would also like to congratulate them on their 100th birthday.
